Associate Family Lawyer A strong opportunity for a 2-5 PAE Family Lawyer to join a growing specialist family law team in Melbourne CBD. Manage a caseload of family law matters, including parenting and property disputes, under supervision, subject to your level of experience Draft court documents, affidavits and correspondence Appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, as appropriate to your level of experience Assist with complex matters including property settlements, parenting disputes and financial agreements Participate in mediations and negotiations Maintain strong client relationships and provide clear, practical advice Demonstrate best practice in family law Adhere strictly to ethical professional obligations Provide commercially minded, cost-proportionate advice to clients What you'll bring You'll be a capable Family Lawyer who enjoys the technical side of practice, communicates well with clients, and wants to keep building in a team that values both standards and support. 2-5 years' PAE with experience in family law Strong drafting and communication skills Ability to manage files with appropriate supervision Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills A client-focused approach and strong work ethic Admission to practice in Australia Commercially minded, cost-proportionate approach with strong client service skills Commitment to best practice in family law and the ethical practice of family law Interested in this position?
